The Coming of Spring Break Has People Making Plans Days Ahead
Going around FSU's campus, you will find a lot of people doing nothing. With the rise in temperature outside and Spring Break getting closer and closer, people's minds are on what it is exactly they are going to do while on break.
After going around campus and finding three people, the question "What are your spring break plans?" was asked. Here are the subjects:
Leslie Leila-Ijana Olemba, a freshmen here at Frostburg with a major in Biology and a PreMed focus is from Silver Spring, Maryland.
She was asked what her spring break plans are and she replied with "Getting things done early so she can travel during the summer." She also added that going to the beach and getting her hair done are also on the checklist of "things to do" during the break.
Once she left, her friend who is also a Biology major student, Dana Sumlin from Oxen Hill, Maryland was asked "What will she be doing in during spring break?"
She replied with "probably just gonna chill with my brothers." Once asked for her to go in to more detail about her plans she said along with that, she will be studying for her biology class.
After walking outside, I went in to the Lane Center looking for something to drink, but was distracted due to Tracy W., a Frostburg, Maryland native and local worker at the campus's Chic-Fil-A, said "Hello" to a usual customer [myself].
I asked her what her plans for spring break were and she told me, without a blink of the eye, "Reading and playing with my children."
With such a direct answer, I wanted to know more, so I asked "By playing with your children, are you going to take them to the park?"
She replied "We live in the country, so we have a trampoline and a set of swings at home, but a nice day at the park doesn't sound to bad."
With people all over the school "making moves" for the upcoming break. Everyone is more than happy to get off of the campus, go home see friends/ family alike, and take a break from all the physical work that comes with being a college student.
